I have been very fortunate to have been raised by my parents while they built one of Western Australia's first IT companies with my grandparents. Their company has been in business since the 1960s and has been a leading part of my life since 2012, when I started working in the family business. My father, Bill, has instilled in me the importance of integrity, continuity and relationship building, which has been the core of his business, W.J. Moncrieff Pty Ltd. I have been lucky enough to work alongside Bill, and now have the capacity to run my own company.
During my time at Moncrieff I have worked in every part of the technology sales cycle – from Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, Procurement, Project Management, Account Management, Client Executive and Sales Management.
This journey has given me a full insight into how the industry works and how to navigate the typical roadblocks by using innovation to deliver my clients' requirements. My natural ability to develop a strategy and to creatively solve problems has helped me build strong relationships with my major clients. This trait has provided a solid foundation upon which I can uncover, propose and deliver authentic business.
I keep my clients abreast of technology advances that may affect their decision-making and business outcomes. This involves proactively engaging appropriate vendors to meet with my clients to present relevant new technologies or roadmap updates.
